“The Art of Running” Panel Discussion

NOTE: Due to time constraints of our panelists and in the interest of the live music to follow, we will begin the panel discussion at 6PM. If you plan to run, we ask that you do so prior to or after the panel discussion. Thanks!

A note from co-founder, Jeremy S. Browning

In Montgomery and the surrounding River Region there are multiple, welcoming and wonderful running groups. As you interact with the people in our local running community, you begin to hear the stories: how one group got started; the time a group traveled en masse to a cool race in another state; the best sales at which to buy gear.

You also begin to learn about the lives of the individual people, which can inspire unique fitness related ideas. I met Baled It co-founder Brett through the MGM Runs Wednesday night pub run at Leroy. On our runs, we would share SO many ideas about neat, fun, outside-of-the-box ways to improve our health, fitness, and community. That was the genesis of Baled It. We have so many more ideas in the works, and are eager to put them into practice.

It is my hope that something covered during this panel discussion will inspire you. Especially if you find yourself struggling in your routine. We’ve all been there (I’m currently there…). Perhaps you will walk away with valuable insight regarding improving your pacing, or having heard about a charity race in a city to which you travel for work a lot. The point being: we want you to get more than just exercise from you run.

Your friend, Jeremy S. Browning

Important Note: The topics and content covered during the discussion are NOT intended to be put into practice without first making a plan, informing your family & friends of that plan, and consulting with your physician on a regular basis regarding your ability to run and the effects running has on your health. (May they all be beneficial!)
